A Little History
The Waterhole Saloon has been in the same location for 38 years
and has seen very little change in that time period. The
Waterhole began as a BBQ restaurant and quickly transformed
into a watering hole for the locals. The 'Hole has changed hands
a few times from Karaoke Louie, who ran his own karaoke show
4 nights a week for over 3 years to Old EZ, who used to have a
recliner in the backroom nd told dirty jokes all day long. The
Waterhole has now landed into the arms of "Two Crazy Women"
- a mother/daughter duo which adds a distinctly feminine touch
that most honky tonks lack (some may call it a different name -
but you get the idea) . Differing only in opinions on politics,
religion, and managerial style: the "Two Crazy Women" have
created an environment that is fun, receptive, and welcoming to
everyone. They also provide a daily dose of comedic relief.
The Waterhole cannot be defined by a genre. We are not just a
"country" bar - we offer entertainment for all our customer's
tastes and inclination including blues, celtic, punk, and metal
bands as well as local hip hop and rap groups quite often. We
are a sports bar too with NASCAR, basketball, football, tennis,
and golf on all of our flat screen tvs; but we are also a karaoke
bar, offering karaoke Thursdays through Fridays and
occassional Saturdays. Like club music? We frequently drag a
DJ out here to work our bodies over on the dance floor. Simply
put - The Waterhole Saloon is your bar. We are your family, your
friend, your good times, your bad. We are a fun place where
people can meet, drink, and be merry. We are a place to come
when you are meeting a friend, to look for your next boyfriend, to
come for celebrations or for loss. We're proud of our community
and we look after each other. It all comes together to create some
darn good times and even better memories.
